Assistant Professor, Low-Incidence Disabilities

Assistant Professor, High-Incidence Disabilities

Desirable candidates should be able to assume leadership roles and/or accept key responsibilities as the department seeks to focus on research and practice issues addressing secondary special education for youth with high incidence disabilities such as learning, emotional, and mild cognitive disabilities. Areas of expertise may include, but are not limited to, response to intervention, disproportionality, identification and instruction of English language learners with disabilities, and noncategorical entitlement to special education services. Position Announcements U of Wisc – Whitewater

We have two assistant professor positions for Fall 2009 – The first in Cross Categorical and the other in Early Childhood Special Education. We have a great group of 12 faculty-just in special education! Whitewater is located 45 minutes between Madison and Milwaukee and is a short 2 hour train ride to Chicago.
