Faculty in the Department of Specialized Education Services at The University of North Carolina Greensboro (UNCG) invite high quality graduate students to apply for federally funded doctoral study in Project LINK-2-LEAD. The Linking Important Networks of Knowledge to Lead (LINK-2-LEAD) Special Education Teacher Education Research project is a partnership between UNCG, the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), the School of Education Teacher Academy’s Project ENRICH, and school districts in two counties (i.e., Forsyth and Guilford). Because LINK-2-LEAD scholars must commit to full-time doctoral study, the financial package is comprehensive. Annually, each LINK-2-LEAD scholar receives the following:

Year-round UNCG and Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) tuition

Graduate student health insurance and activity fees

Paid summer internship, externship, and research apprenticeships

On-campus parking compensation

Textbook money

Travel (i.e., conference and local) allowance

Cost-of-living stipend

Please visit the LINK-2-LEAD website http://www.uncg.edu/ses/projectlink2lead/ for important grant related information (e.g., application procedures, eligibility criteria, deadlines, unique features, service obligation considerations) and contact Marcia Rock (mlrock@uncg.edu) with questions.
