Assistant Professor Position
The School of Education invites applications for a special education faculty position in severe disabilities and autism. Responsibilities include teaching graduate courses, advising master’s and doctoral students, engaging in scholarly activity, participating in school and university committees, developing and coordinating partnerships with area school systems, and seeking external funding for creative initiatives.
Qualifications include (a) earned doctorate in special education, (b) expertise in teaching students with severe disabilities, (c) strong academic knowledge in the education of students with severe disabilities, including students with autism, (d) potential to mentor doctoral students, (e) potential for engaging in educational research, and (f) commitment to participate in school-university partnerships and grant development.

Salary and benefits are competitive.
