California State University Channel Islands:Tenure Track Position

CSUCI is accepting applications for tenured/tenure track faculty at the Assistant, Associate or Professor level for each of the following positions.
Educational Leadership and Administration
Foundations of Education; Multicultural Multilingual
Special Education; Mild Moderate
Educational Leadership and Administration-Open Rank
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching in the Masters of Arts in Education that has specializations in educational leadership and special education, supervising students in administrative field experiences, and advising thesis projects. Additional responsibilities include developing, maintaining or expanding a scholarly research agenda that is appropriate to rank, assisting faculty build new programs at the post baccalaureate, Master’s and doctoral levels, advising students, and providing service to the Education programs and University. Faculty who can contribute to other education program areas such as social, historical and multicultural foundations of education, research methods, educational psychology, elementary and secondary curriculum, or special education are desirable.
Foundations of Education; Multicultural Multilingual-Open Rank
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching multicultural/multilingual foundations of education to graduate and undergraduate students. Additional responsibilities include: teaching courses related to equity, diversity and foundations of education, theories of education, and/or research methods; having a record of scholarly work or an emerging research agenda appropriate to rank; participating in service at the program, school, and university levels; and advising students. A faculty member who can contribute to other Education Programs is desirable.
Special Education; Mild Moderate-Open Rank
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching special education courses in mild/moderate programs and Master of Arts in Education specialization in special education; supervision and advisement of special education student teachers and interns in school settings; having a record of scholarly work or emerging research agenda in special education that is appropriate to rank; providing leadership, advising students in a variety of special education programs. Complimentary expertise in early childhood, elementary, secondary education, or other education programs is an asset.
