We are anticipating having 3 new postdoctoral positions for new Ph.D.’s who have interests and expertise in intervention for individual’s with Asperger Syndrome. The positions will be part of a new large Asperger Center that will be housed at UC Santa Barbara. The new Asperger Center will be partnering with the UCSB Koegel Autism Center.
All of the positions involve supervising doctoral students, as well as conducting and publishing research, presenting at professional conventions, and designing intervention programs for a variety of individuals, ranging in age from very young children on up through adolescents, young adults, and even older adults. We are also developing a model program for young adults with Asperger Syndrome to support them in gaining admission to major university degree programs. We anticipate these positions will available for hiring by this summer (2007). If you know of individuals who might be interested in these postdoctoral positions, could you please refer them to us, and forward this email message to them.
